The Equal Opportunity Cell comprises SC/ST Cell, Gender Cell and Physically Challenged has been established for the welfare of students of SFRC as per the instructions of the UGC/State Government. The Cell functions as a Grievances Redressal Cell for the grievances of the SC/ST students and employees of the College, and renders them necessary help in solving their academic as well as administrative problems. The Cell also performs any other work assigned from time to time to promote higher education among these two communities suffering from economic, social and educational deprivations. The main objective of the SC/ST Cell is to ensure proper implementation of various schemes of University Grants commission/Government of India/State Government introduced regularly.

SFRC will be very sensitive while dealing with incidents of caste discrimination and a strict action will be taken against such cases. The Officials/faculty members should also desist from any act of discrimination against SC/ST students on grounds of their social origin. The Committee will lend a hand and anatomize the problems. Necessary actions will be taken on the need base of problem. SFRC invigorates well experienced committee members.
