INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE CELL (IQAC)

Quality Initiatives:

IQAC plays a key role in the effective functioning of the institution. It initiates, plans and supervises activities to maintain quality standards in academic and administrative bodies.

Some of the initiatives of IQAC are listed below:

• Acts as a liaison among Management, Staff, and Students to share information on academics.
• Constantly adopts and applies benchmarks/parameters of quality for various academic and administrative activities of the institution.
• Conducts Internal and External Academic and Administrative Audit every year to know the strength & weakness of all the departments, library, office and office of the Controller of Examinations and the remedial measures/required action to be taken is suggested.
• Instrumental in augmenting the number of Ph.D registrants and awardees by setting up research and development mandates for the academia.
• Arranges Faculty Development Programmes to motivate faculty members towards their academic target.
• Scrutinises the deserving candidate for the “Best Outgoing Student” every year.
• Initiates to set up Green Matte Studio and recording theatre inorder to prepare e-content modules.
• Stimulates to install Lecture Capturing System in 10 classrooms in order to enhance the learning outside the classroom
• Organises Support Staff Development Programme to help the support staff to meet their professional development goals and boost their career.
• Implemented Outcome based Education, a student centric learning model with CBCS as per the UGC guidelines and assess the attainment level of students.
• Constituted the Anti-Ragging Cell for a ragging free campus.
• Insisted the Industry-Institute Interaction Cell to sign MoUs with reputed industries.
• Initiated the submission of proposal for “Institutional Swachhta Ranking 2019” and “Atal Ranking” of institutions on Innovation Achievements 2018 to 2019.
• Established a Students Grievance Redressal Committee-COVID-19, a cell to address and resolve the academic grievances of the students.
• Motivated to implement seven startup programmes under Incubation Centre-A Center for Incubation and Development of Entrepreneurship (ACIDE).
