RESOURCES FOR MULTIMEDIA DEVELOPERS
7. Experience
Experience in developing multimedia products cannot be substituted.
- Finding others to mentor and help to develop the skills. Some mentors may be looking for new developers who are willing to work and learn.
- Adapting the current skills, such as word processing or using a video camera, to multimedia skills. For example, graphic artists may want to start using multimedia authoring tools to develop applications based on their own digital art.
- Trying new tools and techniques. As new technologies and tools come on the market, buy them and start developing the own applications.
- Taking on a project for free to demonstrate the ability and skills.
