TRAINING METHODS
A training method is the process, technique or approach which a trainer uses in teaching.
The most widely used methods of training used by organizations are classified into two categories:
i) On-the-Job Training
ii) Off-the-Job Training.
On the job training
It is the oldest form of training. It takes place at the work site, usually supervised by a manager or an experienced coworker. It is also called as hands on training.
The various types of on the job training methods are
1) Job rotation
2) Coaching
3) Job instruction training
4) committee assignment
Off the job training
In this type of training the employees are taken away from their place of work to be trained.

2) Conference/discussion
3) Role play
4) Vestibule training
5) Simulation
