The Biology division  deals with physical evidence pertaining to living beings, like human and animal, as well as materials of plant origin. The following work are generally handled by this division. Bacteriological and entomological examination of exhibits. Anatomical examination of  human / animal bones, skeletal remains, teeth etc. Morphological examination of materials like hairs, wool, fibres, wood and wood fragments, seeds, leaf fragments, pollens, micro-flora, diatoms etc, with a view to identifying material.
